It has been a crazy few weeks at my house. I have had bronchitis and just didn't feel like doing anything by the time I got home every night.
This week is crazy busy and it looks like we will be eating in shifts every night. The two boys have Christmas musical practice at Church every night this week for the Sunday performance. This is a little excessive to me but I am not the director. We did have to tell her that both boys won't be at every practice. Daughter has Christmas Concert at School , Cheerleading practice and a Basketaball game this week. Oldest boy besides Christmas musical practice has basketball practice 3 nights and the High School is recognizing all the 5th grade basketball players at the Varsity Home game on Tuesday night. I don't think I can fit anything else in my schedule.
It looks like we are eating in shifts this week so here is what I have on the menu.
Monday: Ground Beef/ Penne Pasta - quick casserole using what I have on hand.
Tuesday: Roast/Carrots/Potatoes in the Crock Pot
Wednesday: Oven Baked Chicken Fajitas - first time trying this recipe
Thursday: Sausage and Potato Bake.
Friday: Beef and Noodles - Using leftover Roast
Saturday: Family Christmas
Sunday: Youth Group Christmas party at Church.

I do something similiar to your sausage, potato roast. I use polish sausage and I add onion, peppers and mushrooms. My goal next year is to try one new reciepe a week since I am always pinning them on pinterest :)
ReplyDeleteHaving Christmas early this year? Your menu sounds delicious even if everyone is eating at different times. You'll have to let us know how the chicken fajitas come out!
ReplyDeleteThe family Christmas is actually my Dad's side of the family. We get together every year at Christmas. This year will be a little harder as we have lost two family members. We lost my Dad's sister in October and a brother two weeks ago.
DeleteSo sorry you were sick. Bronchitis is the pits!
